The UFF Advantage
90% of charitable funds for Ukraine are donated to large international nonprofits, and around 87% of that aid never makes it past Western Ukraine to the front lines where it is desperately needed. UFF is unique because we are small, agile, and headquartered in Kyiv. We don't lose aid to international corruption, and we don't rely on other organizations for delivery. Our evacuation team operating in Kherson took time to install a wheelchair ramp for a family in need. ![]()

Before the war, disabled persons in Kherson had access to the materials and craftsmen needed to build ramps necessary to move around homes, hospitals and other buildings. Now they do not. They also had neighbors, acquaintances, and their community for help, but now many have left - and people with disabilities are left stranded. They rely heavily on volunteers and aid organizations for such help. ![]()

UFF's evac team is active in filling this gap in community services near the front line.
American training expertise is crucial for Ukraine. It enhances the skills and morale of Ukrainian defenders: feedback from students and trainees shows this clearly. Ukraine must employ better planning and strategic leadership to achieve its objectives at all levels. The expertise provided by UFF's training partner Sonata helps Ukrainian defenders gain valuable insights from NATO experience.
